Anya is a fully qualified Architect with over 15 years of experience. She is passionate about design in the context of existing and historic buildings. She loves modernism and enjoys developing ideas to create space, light and truth to materials. With her partner, she completed a self-build project to convert a derelict joiners workshop into their home in Sheffield.

Rachel is a fully qualified Architect with over 15 years of experience and lives in Solihull. Rachel is an enthusiastic self-builder, having previously constructed a 2 storey SIPS extension and with a second self-built project currently underway on her new home. Rachel is passionate about ensuring the longevity of all designs through careful consideration of low energy design principles and her knowledge as a certified Passivhaus designer.

Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Tom is a talented Architect who recently qualified following a Higher Degree Apprenticeship at Sheffield Hallam University and RIBA North. Tom has worked at Thread for 4 years working alongside the Part 2 course, achieving a Distinction and receiving the SSA Digital Award for his final year project.

Thread Architects was established in 2013 and is run by 3 fully qualified and experienced Architects. We have grown to have offices in both Sheffield and Solihull and have a wealth of experience across a range of construction sectors, offering a high quality service which is tailored to the needs of the project. We have the skills to lead clients through the design and construction process, offering a full architectural service led by a dedicated team of experienced professionals. We add into this our creativity and unique design service developed in collaboration with the client with the aim of creating truly exceptional designs.
