Things got distinctly Christmassy at the weekend as we held our first ever Christmas party to start off the festive season. After a busy night of baking on Friday back at our homes we got in to the office early on Saturday to get ready by adding decorations, clearing away the drawings, laying out some food and donning some particularly fetching seasonal jumpers!
At the same time as the party the Christmas Peddler Market was just getting started for the day and the atmosphere was soon full of mulled wine fumes in the office and singing from a choir outside.
A big thank you to everyone who came – we hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did and many thanks for your kind donations to CRASH for our baking efforts. It was great to have chance to see you all and have a chat over a mince pie. We were also very impressed with the gingerbread house creations in the back room by the younger visitors!
And when it was all over and we couldn’t possibly eat a single more chocolate brownie it was time to go and enjoy the evening in the Peddler Market, busy as always and with loads of great craft stalls alongside some more tasty treats.
Keeping on the Christmas theme, our festive gear will also be making an appearance on Friday 16th December for the official Christmas Jumper Day! If you would like to sponsor us in our Christmas Jumper efforts and make a donation to CRASH, please visit our fundraising page here: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/ThreadArchitects
All money raised goes directly to CRASH – the construction industry charity that assists homeless and hospice charities with construction related projects. It’s a fantastic charity and we hope the money we raise will help them to continue to make a real difference to the lives of many.
