A concept design competition entry for lightweight, transportable shelter that can be erected anytime, anywhere.

Between the lamppost and the curb, the telephone pole and the wall, the gutter and the building, an interspace exists. For those whose shelter is permanent, this space is not visible, but for the seekers of dead space, of warmth, of shelter and a home, this space calls out to them. A simple flexible joint forms a leg that folds down to the ground, and another, and another, wrapping around the vertical pole to create a home. A relationship is formed, the act of settlement, the BedBug latches on.
